I only record music as a hobby on a part-time basis, so I can afford to be slow when it comes to my own music. I am presently working on my first CD to unleash on YOU, the unsuspecting public. It may take awhile, but BEWARE.
In the mean time, here are a couple of CDs by some friends of mine that were naive enough to let me into their studios...

Lynn Dobbins  "Heart of Fire"

supadlynn.jpg

I was in a band called "Third Day" with Lynn Dobbins in the early 1970s. She lives in the Washington DC area now and has just released this new CD. I play drums on one track "Ooh-Yay".
This is great Christian-Rock music. Lynn is a wonderful Singer/Songwriter. Very professionaly recorded.

I've known Randy since the late 1970's. He is a great bass player and fine "all around musician", branching out here playing guitar, keyboards, mandolin, as well as bass and a mean drum machine.
On this CD Randy is joined by Patsy Hammontree and Shelly Garyet (Backing Vocals), Bob Hartig (Sax), # Ed Englerth (Guitar), * Eric Blades (Guitar), Glenn Miller (Drums and CD Mastering), Joel Grumblatt (Keyboards), Mark Passick (Drums), Matt Mitchell (Hot Lead guitar), and myself.
I contribute the song "Intolerance" and play guitar, banjo, drums, other percussion, rants, and raves.

email Randy at twobugs@hotmail.com to order your copy.

Back When Our Love Was Young and Strong
by Perry McDonald
When I first met her, we drew a garden
Our day together was short but we were free
Later that summer on rivers and sand dunes
The world was our playground, it was 1973
We married very young, we wouldn't be disuaded
Everyone assumed we'd end up bitter and jaded
We went to the North Wood and grew up together
We always knew our love would last forever
Back when our Love was young and Strong
We wouldn't be defeated
We couldn't stay away for long
You couldn't keep us down
We blew through the questions, we knew all the answers
There was a time we really thought we knew it all
Wisdom comes slowly, we reveiwed the questions
Now come full circle, we've got questions all our own
As though our time would never end
They say that all good things must end
And that all true love must die
But we were never ones for trends
and as long as we always try
You still can't keep us down...

Nothing Else
by Perry McDonald
I woke up this morning at the motel
Packed up my guitar and dusty shoes
400 miles of driving before I reach my home
I'm lonely and I've got the blues
It's raining all down the highway
Windshield wipers barely let me see
I've gotta keep on moving farther down the road
if I wanna see my Lady tonight
And won't she br surprised when I pull up in the driveway
And won't we shed some tears when I do
I'll forget about the highway when she puts her arms around my waist
and I'll think of nothing else tonight
The story goes on forever
Time spent on the road and coming home
I know they'll never run out of blacktop
... so it's plain to see...
that I'll soon be back out here on the road
My slate never washes clean of the troubles I've seen
The things I've seen done can make a man feel mean
I hold on to this vision of her, like I have since we were teens
...and Heaven is all the time we spend away from the Hell between
